During the walk, I’ve come across many humans who have no belief in the spiritual life then there are those who are what I refer to as the middle of the road or sitting on a fence then again beings of great spiritual faith yet make no effort in living by what they claim as there faith, beyond that then we have the fanatical in the polar opposite their way is the only road to Heaven. Extremes benefit no one has been my experience in Dancing with the divine which is or could be said to be the nameless one, so by preference Source of All is quite neutral and always leaves a space for openness to listen to others and hold respect for all others and even non-believers. I recall an early time in my own life many years ago feeling and thinking there was no source to this external world as we see it with all the negative news and calamity.
However, in the mid-twenties, there was a happening or Awakening that defies all logic and reason long before ever Diving into Spiritual matters or choosing a Path. Having said that, that is the purpose of being an author and writing about those experiences as it may serve a reader as to share what is possible for anyone no matter where one is on their journey or dance in life after all we all dance in one way or another. The catalyst for such events to occur usually is a challenge that appears to be too big or hardship of some kind that propels us to become a seeker of Truth. Now when I say Truth I’m not talking about the warm fuzzy rose-colored glasses that most humans want to cling to, Radical Truth is very Subjective. Radical Truth allows any human to face life as it is and gives the opportunity for exponential growth on the inside which is usually noticed by others long before the being doing the work becomes aware of the changes that have taken place in one’s life IE Self Responsibility as well as Self Discipline which is Rare in today’s society that would rather point a finger at everything and everyone else for the way the world is in its current state.
The Blessings that follow Radical Truth far outway staying stuck like a car in the ditch just praying for some invisible thing to lift it out, it requires effort whether you use the cell to call a tow truck or another kind soul passing by to give you a push-up. The same can be said along the path sometimes a teacher is also required in order to either keep your flame lit along the way and offer some guidance or just to listen and share in a reflective way for a little encouragement until the Goal is achieved whatever your Goal may be. Here is some insight on Radical Truth if the next choice is based on who will win and who will lose then the choice may require some more thought or consideration. As whenever choice leads to win and lose I always question is there a higher choice that can be made one whereas it becomes a win-win-win for all involved, for this little self it is a preferred choice that All win.
Rare as it maybe it is the best, in my opinion, to live and address life in a contemplative way allows more space to respond in a healthy way VS react to whatever is being said or done from one moment to another. Most humans are reacting to circumstances attempting to put out one fire after another and in most cases or many case’s those fires were in some way started by themselves in the first place. That is why with a gentle approach it can be with a small shovel moving away from the aspects of what no longer serves us to let go of it, whatever IT is that no longer serves you or others meaning family life work-life or spiritual life, they sound like separate things as most humans tend to see them as separate although it really is One.
Here is another approach is it possible to just be neutral? Emotions control much of the world and my claim here is you can be in the world yet you do not have to live at the effects of the world. A bold statement as the mind races to complain about the state of affairs global pandemic or otherwise, it is a choice to allow external events to dictate how your inner-being is doing and feeling. Now if you can practice being in a neutral state for as long as possible can you watch the effort required to remain neutral, practice practice practice. If you have that mastered then choose the next step and accept the world as being perfect as it is and certainly you will have more peace and Love for yourself and others, as in these states of being you are much less to affected by the news or other external events manipulating the True Divine Innerbeing that is The Radical Truth as it is seen from a walking the path perspective. Many love to Talk about the Path although so few will pick up the shovel required as if looking for a Magic Wand. Walking the path may cost you very little or it could cost you everything depending on where you are in the growth process.
Last but not least before going to sleep say to yourself I am happy and be grateful for having a chance to be here on the planet it only took 34 million years to become a human and who knows what will happen to you in the next life after all this life is all based upon your last life and its Karma question is are you going up in your consciousness or moving elsewhere. I’m not the judge nor would I ever even want that job that is why I’m always writing to be judge-less allow others space to grow at their own rate that is possible if that is their karma. If The finger is pointed into its own chest then all other backyards are off-limits non of my business.
Balance without extremes would be the best approach the middle way as Buddha has mentioned has been a better choice than the extremes although in early life that was seemingly attractive and it did not go well, of course, how could an imbalanced life be well.
