Humility is not being Passive it Shows Power of Discernment

Humility is in my view a great power that can uplift more humans by practicing it, rather than just talking about it. When was the last time you chose to give to someone and tell no one you gave away $5 bucks or helped someone by listening not wanting to add to there complaint list or even higher still pat yourself on the back and make claims about how you did such a great deed for the world.

A long time ago I wanted to do an experiment and if anyone ever attempts what is being shared here it may give you an insight to yourself that could alter and change your life in the most Auspicious way, but only if you practice it will you know. Here is the challenge for you the reader pick 1 day you will devote 1 hour or an entire day to walking around in a large public setting or a mall or shopping center and repeat to yourself, I am that. 3 words I am that, so you get the idea now whatever your eyes see, I am that.

The purpose of this little exercise is for you to understand that all of your mind’s judgments of others hurts not only others but it also hurts you believe it or not. Yes it may alter how you viewed the world prior to doing this exercise and you may decide what else can I do to improve upon the outlooking with these eyes. Instead of having a condensed view based on society’s conditioning as if my own selfish concerns of caring only for myself and my family.

Over 3 decades of observing how we as humans live out our lives in a world of impermanence always somehow think we can be only motivated by our own selfishness when I get this thing albeit a new car a new girlfriend new home or more money only then will I be happy. After all, we all want to be rich in every way possible mind body and spirit yet so few are willing to be happy first so when the fruit falls from the tree or vine you will be able to truly appreciate what is entering into the body. Humility in this exercise of I am that can open doors as if you have a magic key and the key is inside you the reader so give a try and send an email with your results I’m always interested to from others what they experience when practicing humility.

Now as for this photo it was an invitation before this website was built and the most beautiful man who has been caring for the Buddhas stupa in Kathmandu Nepal for more than 32 years gave access to this elevation for walking and prayer purpose and for a moment felt like a huge privilege as I had been there for many weeks and no once did I see anyone this high on the stupa except workers only for painting, so humbled and love him very much as he is a very humble gentleman.
