Years ago, one made a choice to be happy no matter what was happening in life. Radical subjectivity is not for the weak of heart; the rubber meets the road when the first person attempts to insult you. The next opportunity is around the bend, as life is full of opportunities. I used to be just a blue-collar guy working for many companies, as skilled trades are like that: one job finished, then on to the next town, next state, next country great for the adventurer, but not so good for family life, as 80 percent of the time you’re gone from home.
So that is a little context for the article. Many opportunities arise at work as most men think they are the best and anyone else is less; unfortunately, male ego is like a wolf pack. So if you decide to choose to be happy no matter what you can now imagine the real challenge of what I suggest in most if not all of these articles. Yes, one practices what it suggests. A practitioner is not perfect at it, as in the beginning it is the most challenging, yet as time goes by, it becomes a way of life. That said if you choose it it will choose you as well. Chose to make each breath each moment to moment something you would be happy about then your life that seemed average becomes out of the ordinary and something like an author rewrote a script.
